Oral Fixation, Vol. 2 (Spanish: Fijación Oral, Vol. 2) is the seventh studio album by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira. Released on November 28, 2005, through Epic Records, the album marks her second English language release. Building on the international success of her fifth album, "Laundry Service" (2001), Shakira embarked on a two-part follow-up concept.
As a continuation of her sixth studio effort, "Fijación Oral, Vol. 1," which had achieved global acclaim just five months earlier, Shakira took on the roles of co-producer and collaborator. She partnered with a mix of established producers like Gustavo Cerati, Lester Mendez, Luis Fernando Ochoa, and Rick Rubin, as well as newer collaborators including Jerry Duplessis, Wyclef Jean, Tim Mitchell, and The Matrix.
"Oral Fixation, Vol. 2" reached a peak position of No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, indicating its popularity and commercial success. The lead single, "Don't Bother," secured a spot on the Billboard Hot 100, reaching a position of No. 42.
