I Have Returned is the twenty-second studio album by American singer and comedian Ray Stevens, released in 1985 on MCA Records, his second album for the label. Produced and self-arranged by Stevens, who also plays keyboards, synthesizer, trumpet, and timpani throughout, the album's cover and back photography were shot in the Mississippi Sound near Biloxi, Mississippi, and depict Stevens dressed as General Douglas MacArthur reenacting his famous World War II Pacific landing.
The eleven-track album blends Stevens' signature novelty songwriting with country themes, opening with Thus Cacked Henrietta, a chicken-clucking rendition of Richard Strauss's Also sprach Zarathustra, and including the singles The Haircut Song and The Ballad of the Blue Cyclone. It also features a re-recording of Stevens' earlier pop hit Santa Claus Is Watching You, reissued as a country single around the time of this album's release and paired with a popular music video.
