Pat Green's "Wave on Wave," released on July 15, 2003, is his second studio album following his debut with Universal/Republic Records in association with Mercury Records. The album established Green in the country music scene with the title track becoming his highest-charting single ever, reaching number 3 on the Billboard country charts. "Wave on Wave" also produced another hit, "A Guy Like Me," which peaked at number 31. The album's success was further solidified by achieving Gold certification by the RIAA.
