NCIS is an American police procedural television series that premiered on CBS in 2003. The fourth season of the show consists of 24 episodes and originally aired from September 2006 to May 2007.
The series follows a team of special agents who work for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), a federal agency that investigates crimes involving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. The team is led by Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), a former Marine Gunnery Sergeant who is known for his tough and no-nonsense approach to solving cases.
Throughout the fourth season, the NCIS team investigates a wide range of cases, including murder, espionage, and terrorism. The team members, including Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), a former Baltimore homicide detective; forensic specialist Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette); and medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), work together to solve each case using their unique skills and expertise.
The season also explores the personal lives of the NCIS team members, including Gibbs' complicated past and his relationship with his father, DiNozzo's romantic interests, and the backstory of the mysterious Ziva David (Cote de Pablo).
