Natalie Cole's album Take A Look was released on June 9, 1993, by Elektra Records. It is her fifteenth studio album. While the album did not produce major pop hits, the title track "Take a Look" reached number 68 on the US Billboard R&B chart and number 35 on the Adult Contemporary chart. The album won Natalie Cole the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Performance at the 36th Grammy Awards. Take A Look reached number 26 on the US Billboard 200 chart and number 14 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It was certified Gold by the RIAA in the United States for sales of over 500,000 copies. It also achieved Gold certification in Canada and Germany.
