Moonwalkers is a 2015 British comedy film directed by Antoine Bardou-Jacquet and written by Dean Craig. The movie is set in the 1960s and tells the story of a CIA agent named Kidman, played by Ron Perlman, who is tasked with hiring filmmaker Stanley Kubrick to fake the Apollo 11 moon landing in case the real mission fails.
However, Kidman mistakenly recruits a struggling rock band manager named Jonny, played by Rupert Grint, instead of Kubrick. Desperate for the money Kidman offers, Jonny decides to pretend to be Kubrick and convinces his drug dealer friend Leon, played by Robert Sheehan, to help him pull off the hoax.
As they try to create a convincing moon landing video, they encounter a series of comedic obstacles, including a group of dangerous gangsters who want to get their hands on the money. The film is a satirical take on the conspiracy theories surrounding the moon landing, and features a mix of action, humor, and 1960s nostalgia.
