Michael Martin Murphey’s album, Buckaroo Blue Grass II: Riding Song, is his twenty-ninth studio album and his second collection dedicated to bluegrass music, blending his signature Western and cowboy sound with the genre. The album was released on February 9, 2010, on Rural Rhythm Records. The track listing includes an updated acoustic version of his classic hit "Wildfire," as well as other re-recorded favorites like "Cosmic Cowboy" and "Backslider's Wine," alongside the new track "Blue Sky Riding Song." The album achieved commercial success in the bluegrass genre, peaking at number 5 on the U.S. Billboard Top Bluegrass Albums chart, and also reaching number 73 on the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart.
