"Mater's Tall Tales" is a series of short animated films featuring Mater, the lovable tow truck from the Cars franchise. The series aired on Disney Channel and other networks between 2008 and 2012.
Each short features Mater recounting an outrageous tall tale about his adventures. These tales range from him becoming a monster truck to traveling to space!
Larry the Cable Guy reprises his role as Mater, with Owen Wilson returning to voice Lightning McQueen in some episodes. The series was directed by John Lasseter, Rob Gibbs, and Jeremy Lasky.
