Logic – Vinyl Days

Logic delivers a massive thirty track odyssey with his seventh studio album, marking his final release with Def Jam Recordings. Released in 2022, this project serves as a love letter to hip hop culture and the art of sampling, heavily inspired by the golden era of boom bap. The album features an extensive list of legendary collaborators and guest appearances, including Action Bronson, Curren$y, Russ, Wiz Khalifa, RZA, and The Game. Production was primarily handled by Logic alongside 6ix, creating a cohesive soundscape that weaves together intricate lyricism with soulful loops. Notable tracks include the lead single Tetris and the sprawling ten minute closer Sayonara. The project also includes interludes featuring voices like Nardwuar, Tony Revolori, and JJ Abrams. Technical contributions include mastering by Dave Kutch and engineering by Bobby Campbell.
