Life is a 2017 science-fiction thriller movie directed by Daniel Espinosa and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Rebecca Ferguson, Ryan Reynolds, Hiroyuki Sanada, and others.
The movie follows a group of astronauts aboard the International Space Station who discover a rapidly evolving extraterrestrial organism brought to Earth by a Mars mission. As they study and attempt to contain the creature, they soon realize that it is more intelligent and dangerous than they could have ever imagined.
Jake Gyllenhaal plays Dr. David Jordan, the station's medical officer who becomes obsessed with studying the extraterrestrial creature, while Rebecca Ferguson plays Dr. Miranda North, the station's quarantine officer who attempts to prevent the creature from reaching Earth. Ryan Reynolds plays Rory Adams, the station's engineer and joker who is the first to come into contact with the creature. Hiroyuki Sanada plays Sho Murakami, the station's commander who attempts to keep his team together in the face of danger.
The movie features tense and suspenseful scenes as the crew battles to contain the creature and prevent it from reaching Earth. The special effects and visual effects are well-done, and the movie's atmospheric and claustrophobic setting adds to its sense of tension.
