Leprechaun Origins is a 2014 horror film directed by Zach Lipovsky and starring Dylan Postl as the titular creature. It is a reboot of the original "Leprechaun" film series, which featured Warwick Davis as the Leprechaun.
The movie follows four college students, Sophie, Jeni, Ben, and David, who travel to a remote village in Ireland for a research project. They soon discover that the locals are hiding a dark secret: a malevolent and bloodthirsty creature known as the Leprechaun is stalking the countryside and preying on anyone who crosses its path.
As the students try to escape the village and evade the Leprechaun's wrath, they uncover the truth about the creature's origins and its connection to an ancient Irish legend.
Unlike the earlier "Leprechaun" films, which were known for their campy humor and over-the-top gore, "Leprechaun Origins" takes a more serious and suspenseful approach to the horror genre. The film is notable for its atmospheric cinematography and use of practical effects, which help create a sense of tension and terror throughout.
