This officially licensed Judas Priest t-shirt reproduces the iconic album cover artwork from British Steel, the band's sixth studio album, released April 11, 1980 in the UK by CBS Records and in May 1980 in the US by Columbia Records. Produced by Tom Allom and recorded at Ringo Starr's Tittenhurst Park estate in Ascot, England, the album marked the recording debut of drummer Dave Holland.
The cover, designed by Polish artist Roslaw Szaybo, shows a hand gripping a razor blade emblazoned with the band's logo, a striking image that has become one of heavy metal's most recognizable pieces of album art. British Steel produced two of Judas Priest's most enduring singles, Breaking the Law and Living After Midnight, and is widely regarded as a defining record of the new wave of British heavy metal.
