Temporary Road is the fourth studio album by folk singer-songwriter John Gorka, released December 8, 1992 on High Street Records, an imprint of Windham Hill Records. The album was produced by Dawn Atkinson and Steven Miller, with Will Ackerman serving as executive producer. Gorka handles vocals and guitar throughout, joined by Nanci Griffith, Cliff Eberhardt, and Lucy Kaplansky on backing vocals, along with contributions from Darol Anger on violin, Mike Marshall on mandolin, and Michael Manring on fretless bass. High Street Records produced music videos for two of the album's more upbeat tracks, "When She Kisses Me" and "I Don't Feel Like A Train," both of which received airplay on CMT. Running time is approximately 46 minutes across thirteen tracks.
