The Voice by Jay Perez is a 2001 Tejano album that showcases Perez's smooth, soulful vocals and his ability to seamlessly blend Tejano and R&B styles.
Standout tracks include "Hoy Soy Feliz," a joyful, up-tempo tune that incorporates horns and percussion, and "Es Mi Amor," a romantic ballad that showcases Perez's ability to convey deep emotion through his voice. Â
Other tracks, like "Loco Por Tu Amor" and "Tu Eres Mi Amor," incorporate more traditional Tejano rhythms and showcase Perez's versatility as a singer.
