Honky Tonk Kung Fu is the second studio album by Texas country artist James Lann, released in 2010 on his own label, Ari-Tex Records. The album includes the singles "Every Kiss Goodnight," written for Lann's wife Stephanie, and "The Talent Requires," an autobiographical song that reached number one on the Texas Music Charts. A fifth-generation Texas cowboy, Lann built his sound touring dance halls and honky tonks across Texas and the West before shifting focus to original songwriting, and this record blends his own compositions with co-writes and songs contributed by friends.
