Jak and Daxter Collection brings together the first three main installments in the Jak and Daxter series, Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3, remastered in full 720p HD for the PlayStation 3. The collection was developed by Mass Media with assistance from the franchise's original studio, Naughty Dog, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, releasing in North America on February 7, 2012.
All three platformers run at a fixed 60 frames per second, with support for stereoscopic 3D graphics and remastered audio. The collection also adds PlayStation Network trophy support that was not present in the original PlayStation 2 releases. The disc includes a game selection menu that lets players jump directly into The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, or Jak 3, each with its own themed background reflecting that game's setting.
