Inferno

Inferno is a 2016 American mystery thriller film directed by Ron Howard and starring Tom Hanks, based on the novel of the same name by Dan Brown. It is the third film in the franchise following The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. 

The movie follows the adventures of Robert Langdon, a Harvard professor of symbology, as he tries to stop a deadly virus from being released by a madman. The virus is intended to wipe out half of the world's population, and Langdon must use his knowledge of symbols and clues to track down the virus and stop its release. 

Langdon is aided in his quest by Dr. Sienna Brooks, played by Felicity Jones, a young doctor who helps him piece together the clues and solve the puzzles that lead them closer to the virus. Along the way, Langdon is pursued by a shadowy organization, determined to stop him from uncovering the truth.

The film features thrilling action sequences, including chases through the streets of Florence and a race against time to decipher clues before the virus can be released. It also features stunning visuals, as the characters explore famous landmarks and works of art in their quest for answers.

While Inferno received mixed reviews from critics, it was a box office success, grossing over $220 million worldwide. Fans of the franchise will appreciate the film's blend of mystery and action, as well as Tom Hanks' performance as the intrepid Robert Langdon.
