Hot Rods to Hell is a 1967 American suspense film directed by John Brahm, released on DVD by Warner Home Video on June 26, 2007. Produced by Sam Katzman and based on a 1956 Saturday Evening Post story by Alex Gaby, the film stars Dana Andrews and Jeanne Crain as a couple whose family road trip through the desert turns into a harrowing game of chicken with a gang of reckless teenage hot-rodders.
The cast also includes Mimsy Farmer, Laurie Mock, Paul Bertoya, and Gene Kirkwood. Distributed theatrically by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, the film has since become recognized as a cult drive-in classic of the era. This DVD release presents the film in a widescreen format of approximately 1.85:1, cropped from its original 4:3 theatrical aspect ratio, with a runtime of 92 minutes.
