Honeymoon Suite's "Racing After Midnight" is their third studio album, released on March 8, 1988. This album, which followed "The Big Prize" and preceded "Monsters Under the Bed" in their discography, marked a period of growth for the Canadian pop metal band.
"Racing After Midnight" was produced by Ted Templeman and Jeff Hendrickson, and it features Spoons keyboardist Rob Preuss. The album includes the hit songs "Lookin' Out for Number One" and "Love Changes Everything."
In 1989, "Racing After Midnight" achieved double platinum certification in Canada, indicating sales of over 200,000 copies. It also reached number 6 on the Canadian album charts and number 86 on the US Billboard 200.
