Heart – Magazine

Heart's second studio album, Magazine, is a key piece of 1970s hard rock history, most famously released on April 22, 1978, by Mushroom Records after a legal dispute over an earlier unauthorized version. As the band's second album, following their debut Dreamboat Annie, its definitive release cemented Heart's status in the rock world. The album's primary hit single was "Heartless," a hard rock track that reached number 24 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Another notable single from the album was the Badfinger cover "Without You." Commercially, Magazine was a success, peaking at number 17 on the US Billboard 200 chart. It achieved Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over one million units in the United States, and was also certified 2x Platinum in Canada.
