Glass Tiger's second studio album, Diamond Sun, was released on April 13, 1988, following their debut album, The Thin Red Line. The album features the hit singles "I'm Still Searching," which peaked at number 2 in Canada, and the title track "Diamond Sun," which reached number 5 in Canada. The album was certified triple platinum in Canada by Music Canada, signifying sales of 300,000 units. It also reached number 82 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
