Get Smart is a 2008 action-comedy movie directed by Peter Segal and starring Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway, and Dwayne Johnson. The movie is based on the 1960s television series of the same name.
The plot of the movie revolves around Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell), a bumbling and inexperienced analyst working for the United States secret intelligence agency known as CONTROL. When CONTROL's headquarters is attacked by their arch-nemesis organization KAOS, Smart is unexpectedly promoted to field agent and partnered with the beautiful and capable Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway).
Together, they embark on a mission to stop KAOS from detonating a bomb that would destroy Los Angeles. Along the way, they encounter a cast of colorful characters, including the eccentric scientist Dr. Shtarker (Alan Arkin), the evil mastermind Siegfried (Terence Stamp), and Agent 23 (Dwayne Johnson), a legendary agent who has gone rogue.
The movie is a blend of action and comedy, with Carell's trademark deadpan humor providing many of the film's funniest moments. Hathaway brings charm and charisma to her role as Agent 99, while Dwayne Johnson's action-hero presence adds an extra layer of excitement to the film.
