Frost/Nixon is a 2008 historical drama film directed by Ron Howard and starring Michael Sheen as British journalist David Frost and Frank Langella as former US President Richard Nixon. The film is based on the real-life series of interviews conducted by Frost with Nixon in 1977, three years after he resigned from the presidency in disgrace over the Watergate scandal.
The film portrays the intense preparation and negotiations that led up to the interviews, as well as the dramatic confrontations between Frost and Nixon during the interviews themselves.
