Faerie Tale Theatre: The Little Mermaid is a 1987 live-action adaptation of the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale, produced as an episode of the popular television series "Faerie Tale Theatre." The story follows a young mermaid named Marina, who falls in love with a human prince and longs to join him on land. She makes a deal with a sea witch, giving up her beautiful voice in exchange for human legs. However, the prince does not recognize her, and Marina must face difficult choices and dangerous obstacles in order to find true love and happiness.
