Released on February 11, 1992, Black Eyed Man is the fourth studio album by Canadian alternative rock band Cowboy Junkies. It marked a shift in their sound from a spare country blues style (like their earlier album The Trinity Session) to a more mainstream country rock direction.
While the album itself did not achieve Billboard chart success or RIAA certification, it received generally positive reviews and is considered a critical return to form after their previous album, The Caution Horses.
