The film follows Steve Rogers, a frail man rejected by the military due to his small stature, who is selected for a secret experiment to transform him into a super-soldier. Rogers becomes Captain America and fights against the evil organization HYDRA during World War II. The film stars Chris Evans as Captain America, Tommy Lee Jones as Colonel Chester Phillips, Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter, Hugo Weaving as Johann Schmidt/Red Skull, and Samuel L.
