Four is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Blues Traveler. It was released on September 13, 1994, and is widely considered their breakthrough album. The album showcases Blues Traveler's signature blend of blues, rock, and jam band influences, characterized by harmonica-driven melodies and John Popper's powerful vocals.

The album received critical acclaim and achieved significant commercial success. It reached the number 8 spot on the Billboard 200 chart, indicating its widespread popularity. One of the key factors contributing to its success was the single "Run-Around," which became the band's highest-charting single and peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The infectious harmonica riff and catchy chorus made it a radio favorite and propelled the album's success.

Additionally, "Hook" was another hit single from the album, reaching number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. Its clever and self-referential lyrics added to the album's appeal, solidifying Blues Traveler's reputation as talented songwriters.
