Meant For Each Other is the only collaborative studio album by country artists Barbara Mandrell and Lee Greenwood, released August 6, 1984 on MCA Records. Recorded at Woodland Studios in Nashville and produced by Tom Collins and Jerry Crutchfield, the album pairs the two vocalists across ten tracks written largely by Nashville staff songwriters, including Mack David, Mike Reid, and Dennis W. Morgan.
The album includes the singles "To Me" and "It Should Have Been Love By Now," along with the Greenwood-penned title track "We Were Meant For Each Other." Session musicians include Reggie Young on electric guitar, David Hungate on bass, and the Nashville String Machine on strings, with mastering by Denny Purcell at Woodland Studios.
