Bamboo Bears - Forest Adventure follows Bamboo-Lee, Dah-Lin, and Slo-Lee, three young bears on a mission to protect endangered species from the schemes of the Ratco Corporation. With the help of Ai-Ai, a pink dragon, the trio journeys through the wilderness to defend the animals and habitats under threat. This collection gathers three episodes from the series: Bamboo Bears, European Brown Bears, and Blue Parrot.
Bamboo Bears was created by Sicco Kingma and directed by Bernard Deyries and Christian Choquet, produced in co-production with Mitsui & Co. and animated with support from Tae San Sek and Colorland. Originally airing in the mid-1990s, the series was developed with backing from the World Wildlife Fund and centers each episode on a different animal, blending adventure storytelling with an environmental conservation message for young viewers. This DVD collection was released by Allumination Filmworks in 2008.
