Atari Anniversary Edition Redux is a video game developed by Digital Eclipse Software and published by Infogrames in 2001 for the PlayStation console. The game is a compilation of classic Atari games from the 1970s and 1980s, all remastered for the PlayStation console.
The game features 12 classic Atari arcade games, including "Asteroids," "Missile Command," "Centipede," "Pong," and "Tempest." The games are presented in their original form, but with updated graphics and sound to take advantage of the PlayStation's capabilities. In addition, the game features a museum mode that includes historical information about the games, as well as interviews with the original developers.
Players can choose to play each game in its original arcade version, or in a home console version that includes extra features like additional levels and multiplayer modes. The game also includes a high score table, where players can compete with others for the top score.
