Amy Grant – Unguarded

Amy Grant's seventh studio album, Unguarded, was released on May 15, 1985, marking her definitive shift toward mainstream pop/rock music while retaining her status as a star in contemporary Christian music. The album's aggressive pop style, her first on A&M Records, helped it achieve significant crossover success.

The album's hit songs include "Find a Way," which was a major success, peaking at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 7 on the Adult Contemporary chart, and "Everywhere I Go," a Top Thirty AC single. Other Christian radio hits were "Wise Up" and "Sharayah." The album itself was certified Gold by the RIAA in September 1985, followed by Platinum certification in June 1986, and became the first Christian album to yield a Top 40 single on the Billboard Hot 100.
