American Sniper is a 2014 American biographical war drama film directed by Clint Eastwood. It is based on the memoir "American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History" by Chris Kyle, Scott McEwen, and Jim DeFelice. The film stars Bradley Cooper as Chris Kyle, a U.S. Navy SEAL sniper, and Sienna Miller as his wife, Taya Kyle. Other major actors include Jake McDorman, Luke Grimes, and Navid Negahban. The producers were Clint Eastwood, Robert Lorenz, Andrew Lazar, Bradley Cooper, and Peter Morgan.
