Alone in the Dark is a 2005 horror film based on the video game series of the same name. The movie follows Edward Carnby, a paranormal investigator, who uncovers a plot involving an ancient, long-lost tribe known as the Abskani and their connection to demonic creatures attempting to resurface in the world. With the help of archaeologist Aline Cedrac, his former girlfriend, Carnby races against time to stop the sinister forces and prevent the world from being overrun by darkness, all while battling supernatural threats and his own past.
