The self-titled debut studio album by Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, "5 Seconds of Summer," was released on June 27, 2014, in Europe and on July 22, 2014, in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This album marked their first full-length release. Hit songs from the album include "She Looks So Perfect," "Don't Stop," "Amnesia," and "Good Girls."

The album was a significant commercial success, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 chart in the U.S. with first-week sales of 259,000 copies, making it the biggest first-week sales for a debut album by a group since 2006. It has sold 734,000 copies in the United States as of September 2015 and was certified platinum by the RIAA. Internationally, the album also performed strongly, reaching number one in 14 countries, including Australia. It has been certified platinum in four countries and gold in ten others. In the United Kingdom, the album has sold over 240,664 copies and is certified platinum by the BPI. In Australia, it is certified double platinum by ARIA.
