24: Season One is the debut season of the Fox television series, originally broadcast from November 6, 2001 to May 21, 2002. Starring Kiefer Sutherland as federal agent Jack Bauer, the season unfolds in real time over a single day, following Bauer's efforts to stop the assassination of presidential candidate David Palmer while searching for his kidnapped wife and daughter.
The season also stars Leslie Hope, Sarah Clarke, Elisha Cuthbert, and Dennis Haysbert, and introduced the show's signature real-time format and split-screen storytelling.
