Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 2014 live-action reboot of the popular media franchise created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the film combines action, adventure, and humor, bringing the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters back to the big screen.
The story follows the titular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello. They are anthropomorphic turtles trained in ninjutsu by their rat sensei, Splinter. The turtles, along with their human ally April O'Neil (played by Megan Fox) and her cameraman Vernon Fenwick (played by Will Arnett), discover that the villainous Foot Clan, led by the enigmatic Shredder (played by Tohoru Masamune), is wreaking havoc on New York City.
The turtles and their allies must thwart Shredder's plans, which involve a dangerous mutagenic substance and a sinister plot to dominate the city. As they confront Shredder and the Foot Clan, the turtles' unique personalities and fighting styles come into play, showcasing their brotherly bonds and teamwork.
