Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a science fiction film released in 2011, serving as a prequel to the original "Planet of the Apes" series. The movie follows the story of Dr. Will Rodman, a scientist portrayed by James Franco, who is conducting groundbreaking research to develop a cure for Alzheimer's disease. His experiments lead to the creation of a highly intelligent ape named Caesar, played through motion-capture by Andy Serkis.
As Caesar grows and learns, he becomes increasingly self-aware and exhibits advanced cognitive abilities, far beyond that of a typical ape. However, as he becomes more human-like, he starts to face mistreatment and prejudice from humans, leading to his eventual rebellion against his captors.
