Mama is a horror movie released in 2013 that stars Jessica Chastain and Nikolaj's fellow "Game of Thrones" alum, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Directed by Andres Muschietti, the movie centers around two young girls who are found living alone in the woods after their parents' murder-suicide.
The girls are taken in by their uncle (played by Coster-Waldau) and his girlfriend (played by Chastain), but strange and terrifying occurrences begin to happen, leading the couple to believe that a supernatural force may be at work.
As they investigate the origins of the girls' mysterious "mama", the couple must confront their own demons and fight to protect the girls from a malevolent force that threatens to consume them all.
The film received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising the performances and atmosphere while others found the story to be derivative and predictable. Nevertheless, "Mama" was a commercial success and remains a popular entry in the horror genre.
