Take One is a non-official debut studio album by Adam Lambert, released on November 17, 2009, by Rufftown Records. This album consists of pre-American Idol recordings from 2005 when Lambert worked as a session musician. It was released in the same month as his official post-Idol debut, For Your Entertainment, making it the second album in his discography to be released. Take One consists of thirteen tracks, including "Climb," "December," and "Fields." This album is a collection of recordings made before his rise to fame on American Idol. Take One reached number 72 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and number 6 on the Billboard Top Independent Albums chart. It sold approximately 48,000 copies in the United States.
