AC/DC's album The Razors Edge was released on September 24, 1990, and is the twelfth studio album by the Australian rock band. It marked a significant comeback for the group, featuring the hit singles "Thunderstruck," "Are You Ready," and "Moneytalks." "Thunderstruck" and "Are You Ready" reached numbers 5 and 16 respectively on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart, while "Moneytalks" peaked at number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album itself reached number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and stayed on the chart for 77 weeks. In the United Kingdom, The Razors Edge reached number 4 on the UK Albums Chart.
The Razors Edge achieved substantial sales success, selling approximately 18.8 million copies worldwide, making it AC/DC's third highest-selling album after Back in Black and High Voltage. It has received numerous multi-platinum certifications, including 6x Platinum in the United States by the RIAA as of July 2024.
