Flushed Away is a 2006 animated adventure-comedy film directed by David Bowers and Sam Fell, and produced by Aardman Animations and DreamWorks Animation. The film tells the story of a pampered pet rat named Roddy St. James, voiced by Hugh Jackman, who is accidentally flushed down the toilet and ends up in the sewer world of Ratropolis.
In Ratropolis, Roddy meets Rita Malone, a street-wise rat voiced by Kate Winslet, who is on a mission to find a valuable ruby stolen by the villainous Toad, voiced by Ian McKellen. Together, Roddy and Rita embark on a wild adventure through the sewers, encountering a variety of colorful characters and dangerous obstacles along the way.
