Failure to Launch is a 2006 romantic comedy film directed by Tom Dey and starring Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker. The movie is about a 35-year-old man named Tripp (played by McConaughey) who still lives with his parents and refuses to leave the nest.
Tripp's parents, desperate to see him move out and start his own life, hire a beautiful and charming woman named Paula (played by Parker) to lure him out of the house. Paula's job is to make Tripp fall in love with her and motivate him to leave his parents' house.
As Paula spends more time with Tripp, she starts to develop real feelings for him, and the situation becomes complicated when Tripp finds out about the scheme.
