Do You Believe in Miracles: The Story of the 1980 U.S. Hockey Team is a documentary film that chronicles the inspiring story of the U.S. men's hockey team that won the gold medal at the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. Directed by John Whitesell and narrated by actor Liev Schreiber, the film tells the story of the team's unlikely journey to victory and the impact it had on American sports culture.

The documentary includes interviews with many of the players, coaches, and commentators who were involved in the historic Olympic Games, as well as archival footage from the tournament and other key moments in the team's history. The film also delves into the political and social context of the time, including the tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union during the Cold War era.

The movie highlights the team's underdog status and the way they overcame seemingly insurmountable odds to defeat the heavily favored Soviet team in the semifinals, and then went on to win the gold medal against Finland in the final game. The victory became known as the "Miracle on Ice" and is widely regarded as one of the greatest upsets in sports history.
